This app is inundated with adds that you can’t eliminate that using it’s features is near impossible. I’d give it a zero if it were possible.

The ads pop up every 2 minutes and cover the entire screen. Very inconvenient.

Old version was pretty good. New, mandatory update version, is unusable as ads keep popping up every few seconds. The ads are full screen so nothing can be done until the ads time out. Thus, when you need to use the app, it’s not available. Deleted.

Will not work on iPhone 12 - constantly crashing when trying to open the app.

Used to use this for a long time. Now it just crashes on opening.

2021/09/08 update. App is crashing upon startup. Restarted my phone to no avail. Please correct this issue. I am a paid user. Works well on iPhone 6S. Would like to see distance reported to hundredths of mile/km. I believe this level of detail was removed with a recent release. Now only reported at tenths of a mile/km.

This app used to be good… just kidding it was always terrible, but at least it was useable. After the most recent updates the app crashes on launch. Several updates later and it still it not fixed.

This stupid app annoyed me in less than one minute! Add after add . Really? I understand the greed but there’s a limit.

Used to be a great app but now the ads are so intrusive it is basically worthless.

Works fine on my iPhone X. Only problem I have is finding a way to turn it off.

iOS 12.4 Altimeter now is working , sitting at 6340 feet, indoors reporting 6350, not bad. Fixed 3.8 tracking issue from a location outside the country. Will test outside and report findings. Thank you for fixing!

Used this for 5 minutes and had 7 full screen ads followed by “do you want to remove ads.” I really hope this is a bug because this is the worst nagware I’ve seen in an app, ever period.

Works okay as long as it’s only app running. However, if it’s in background for more than a few minutes it ‘auto refreshes’ so it starts over so you will lose all previously recorded data. Very annoying!

Somewhere along the way the app stopped showing distance and speed. Still tracks the location and displays on the map. But now much less useful.

App looks great. Displays information in an a great format. However, although the timer runs and the location tracking is accurate it doesn’t display speed or distance data.

Several fields only indicate a value upon power-up, then remain fixed. (Speed, Average Speed, Distance Traveled, etc). This app is entirely useless.

I’ve always liked this app... until I got an iPhone X. Please please please make it compatible . Right now it’s a stretched out mess.

Works fine. Got the app for high elevation. Will not display 5 figures. Not recommended.

Love this app! Whenever my Husband goes camping, the first thing he does when he arrives at his campsite is to get on the app and SMS his exact location to me. I feel so much better knowing where he is! Safety first!

I use this as a back up when flying Ultralight aircraft. Very handy!

I like the app, but feel that the way they present the option of removing ads is misleading. Option pops up for add to be removed. After multiple times saying "no" I finally agreed. It doesn't say anything up to this point about spending money. All of the sudden it pops up asking for finger print to authorize. I was thinking this is just part of the process, but before I read the small print that you were actually spending $3.99 it had already read my print and authorized the purchase. I don't think this app is worth $3.99, but also feel mislead!

Recent update turned this into an add filled piece of junk. Not good anymore. Skip this one!!!

Now you can remove ads... Pay us $3.99 and we'll take away the obnoxious full-screen ads!

This app works pretty well tracking and mapping location until the Adware it supports, stops it cold. I was hiking and letting the app track my progress but found it was continually stopping to suggest I install a "Google app", or a "New York Times reader". If you do not close these ads, the app stops tracking location. If they make a version without the Adware I'd rate this higher

Every effort to open the app ONLY opened ads and spam which could only be closed by closing the app.

Over 10,000ft doesn't show on screen. Shame nice app except for that.

This is a good App but we need capability to center map after resolution change, and moving map to keep it centered.

The map loaded, but the altitude and location never did.

This is a handy app if you like to check speed and height. It is also good for keeping track of you pathway in the woods. One update I wish they would make is the satellite imagery. It is at least four years old If not older.

I installed this app and attempted to use it. Could not change any settings other than imperial or metric. And within 20 minutes 4 Google full page pop up adds pooped all over the whole screen. This junk was deleted from my phone in less than 30 minutes from initial download. Got different altimeter app right away.

It is a shame the app doesn't go above 10000 feet. Other than that not bad. Will have to delete.

Altimeter GPS+ stands out. It is well designed and shows accurate height.

This app is my number one companion during my trips. Also, it's "sms your location" often helps me out.

This app is not just a simple Altimeter. It includes many useful functions that are available to use for any person.

This app is unusable. Need to have the altitude displayed while the phone sits on the dashboard, without interaction while driving. It is stupid to have a full-page ad cover the screen, and require interaction to cancel. A banner ad on the bottom would be fine.

The ads which prevent me from using the app when I need it are a new low in app design. I'd gladly pay to remove the apps but there is no option to remove ads.

I used to like this app. Having paid for the app, now that it’s free and uses full-screen “countdown” advertisements when launched, I am deleting it and will look elsewhere. There are plenty of altitude apps out there...

This app looks great and I like the tracking feature. If you don't plan on taking a trip above 10,000 feet then this is probably the app you will like. Unfortunately I work at altitudes above 10,000 feet every day. I needed an app that will give me accurate altitudes from 10,000 to 14,400 feet.

This app deserves credit in its own right, made everyone view the location link whenever possible, nice and easy. GPS HAS NEVER BEEN OF SO MUCH IMPORTANT. Whatever you want to do, it's there!
